Irma Antonia Rosado, age 81, of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away on January 24, 2022 in Milford. On August 24, 1940 Irma was welcomed to the world by her beloved parents Carlos Guzman and Gloria Bernard in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Irma was affectionately known as "'ita." She moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut at the age of 16. Irma had 8 children, she had a passion for Salsa music, she loved artists like Eddie Santiago, Marc Anthony, El Gran Combo and many more. Irma was full of life and so much more, she poured out love to her children, family and those she met. A kind heart is at rest. Irma is predeceased by her: mother Gloria Bernard; siblings Carlos R. Guzman, Hector Guzman Bernard, Judith Guzman, Julio Guzman, Norma Guzman and Luis Guzman. She is survived by her: children David Rosado of Puerto Rico, Annette Rosado of New Jersey, Juan A. Rosado of Texas, Santiago Rosado Jr. of Puerto Rico, Elia E. Rosado of Bridgeport, CT, Hector L. Rosado of Stratford, CT, Marie L. Abrams of Bridgeport, CT, Jesse Abrams of Bridgeport, CT; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
