Inez 'Gail' Bell

Inez "Gail" Bell, age 63, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Ms. Bell was a faithful member of Open Arms International Outreach Ministries, where she served as a church mother and prayer warrior. She was a voice of strength, who enjoyed singing and telling of God's goodness. She was also an awesome "down home cook," who fed many, many people. She exemplified a life of a true giver! Inez Thames Bell was born June 5th, 1949 in Manning, SC. to surviving mother Sarah Lee Wells Thames and the late Alphonzo Thames. Inez leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Rita Bell, Bridgeport, CT, Gilbert Ludd, Bridgeport, CT and Roosevelt Ludd, Norwalk, CT. Six sisters, Carlean (Ronald) Richardson, Manning, SC, Pastor Sarah (Isaiah) Rashid, Bridgeport, CT., Francina (James) Bethea, Manning, SC, Phillistine Nelson, Manning, SC.,Dorothy Bethea, Manning, SC, Rosann Thames, Manning, SC, and two brothers, Jimmy (Letty) Thames, Alphonzo Thames both of Bridgeport, CT. Three aunts, Sally (Cecil) Hiton, Elease Selman, and Hennie Beaman. Mother Bell will always be remembered and loved by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 61 nieces and nephews and special friends, Ann Sutton, Doris Sutton, Lisa Massey and Mr. Robert Jones.
