Ida Ivette 'Iring' Soto

Ida Ivette Soto, age 54 of Bridgeport, Connecticut entered into eternal rest on June 2, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On June 25, 1965, Ida was welcomed into the world by her parents Nydia Soto and Candido Jorge Soto in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Ida spent some time in New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York before settling in Connecticut. Ida was a mother of three who always put her sons first. She was known by those around her for being an advocate and a reliable source of help, love and care to those who needed her. Ida loved to cook, sew, knit and socialize. Ida is predeceased by her father, Candido Jorge Soto. Ida is survived by: her mother Nydia Soto, companion Fernando Luiz Martinez; three sons, Jose Soto, Moises Contreras and Joshua Contreras all of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren, Brianna Soto, Giannie Contreras, Joshua Contreras Jr., Joshua Contreras, Jahsia Contreras, Jose Soto Jr. and Aliannah Soto; she was beloved by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Ida will be lovingly missed and remembered by her family and her community.
