Hilda L. Salgado Falcn, age 66, of Bridgeport, CT, the spouse of Guadalupe Falcn, passed into peaceful rest on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at St. Raphael's Hospital in New Haven, CT. Hilda was born to the late Emilio Salgado and Gregoria Torres on April 13, 1954 in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Hilda was raised deeply rooted in the Catholic tradition, and her faith was very important to her. Later in life she gave catechism classes to the children at St. Charles Borremeo Parish. Hilda worked with the elderly as a Certified Nurses' Aide. She was a kind and caring mother of five, a beloved grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. Besides her parents Hilda was predeceased by her brother, Emilio Salgado and her sister Migdalia Santiago. Hilda is survived by: husband, Guadalupe Falcn; son, Tommy & daughter-in-law Crystal Falcn of Middleboro, MA; daughter, Angelica & son-in-law Michael Rucker of West Haven, CT; daughter, Elizabeth Falcn of Bridgeport, CT; son, Sammy & daughter- in-law Debbie Falcn of Hamden, CT; daughter, Tamara Falcn of Bridgeport, CT; six siblings, Margarita Santiago, Eva Santiago, Maria Diaz, Raul I. Diaz, Carmen Diaz, Doris Diaz; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish Hilda's memory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 12:00pm at Saint Charles Borromeo Parish 1255 East Main St. Bridgeport, CT. 06608. Interment will follow to Saint Michael's Cemetery 2206 Stratford Ave. Stratford, CT. 06615.
