Herman William Glover Sr.

Herman William Glover, Sr. departed this life peacefully in his roll call in heaven February 23, 2016. He was born to the late Johnny William Glover and Gennette Goings Glover on February 23, 1941. He attended Stamford Public Schools. In 1961 Herman married the love of his life, Katie Mae Brown Glover of Williamston NC. Herman was an avid pool player and he loved to fish. Herman was predeceased by his brother, Hans Thomas; Sister, Shirley Mae Glover Cobb; and Son, Donta Michael Allen. Herman leaves to cherish his life two brothers, Walter Lee Glover (Barbara) and John Arthur Glover; and his children, Aileen Denise Glover Jones (Christopher), Herman William Glover, Jr. (Trina), Regina Diane Glover, Scott Christopher Glover, Sr. (Leslie), Lisa Renee Dunmore (Reginald) all of Charlotte NC; Amy Marie Hunter (Ronald) of Stamford, CT; Laquinta Hargrove of White Plains, NY; Jason Dermody (Jessica) of Athens, GA; John William Glover (Jessica) and Shawnta Michelle Allen of Bridgeport, CT; He also leaves twenty-one Grandchildren; eight wonderful great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The memorial services will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. 06604 on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 am.
