Henry "Hank" Anthony Wierzbicki Jr., age 68 of Shelton, widower of Diane Wierzbicki, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in his home. Henry was born October 25, 1950 in Milford, CT., the beloved son of Marjorie Campos & the late Henry Anthony Wierzbicki Sr. Hank, as he was affectionately known, was the oldest of twelve siblings. He was a hardworking, creative man with a heart for adventure. Hank was a true ‘jack of all trades;' no matter where he was he could always find something he was good at. He was artistic and an excellent painter. Hank had a passion for fishing and for some time worked as a fisherman on a shrimp boat. He was happiest while riding his motorcycle and traveling across the United States. Hank's favorite place to visit was Louisiana. He attended Mardi Gras every year in New Orleans. Hank was set-in-his-ways and strong willed, but with that came a kind soul with a deep love for his family and compassion for animals. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Along with his father, Henry Sr., & beloved wife, Diane; Hank was predeceased by two brothers, Bruce & Thomas Wierzbicki, and maternal grandparents, Edward Morrissey & Clara Powers. In addition to his mother, Marjorie, Hank is survived by: nine siblings, Deborah Pucko, Joseph Wierzbicki, Thomas McGrath, Elizabeth Almeyda, Patricia DuPaul, Michael Wierzbicki, Teri Fischer, Mark Wierzbicki, and Misty Vargas; several nieces & nephews; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
