Helene Pierre

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Helene Pierre, who was called home on March 25, 2025. Born on December 31, 1937, in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, Helene was a woman of immense strength, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Despite never learning to read or write, she was a pillar of wisdom, love, and devotion. She poured her heart into her family, always praying over them and guiding them with her faith-filled spirit. Her strength was unmatched, her prayers unceasing, and her love immeasurable.

Helene leaves behind a legacy carried on by her three children: Jean-Claude Jean-Charles, Launese Fenelon, and Edwich Fenelon, as well as her Twelve grandchildren: Jully Provenzano, Fabienne Anicette, Saraphina Duperval, Madsen Coridon, Marie-Ange Jean-Charles, Jonathan Jean-Charles, Sarah Jean-Charles, Gemima Jean-Charles, and Saïd Jean-Charles, Cedwich Fenelon, Ganaellla Fenelon, Jaina Fenelon. Her love and prayers extended to her nine great-grandchildren: Christina Anduze, Peter Anicette, Alexanda Anduze, Samuel Anduze, Avielle Provenzano, Gia Provenzano, Gianna Provenzano, Judheennah Duperval, who will forever cherish her memory.

Helene’s life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and unconditional love. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains alive in the hearts of those she touched. Her prayers continue to cover us, and her legacy will be carried forward through the generations she so deeply loved. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of the Lord she so faithfully served.

Funeral services are entrusted to Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Ave Bridgeport, CT- 06605. A celebration of Helene’s life will be held on April 11, 2025, at Shekinah Free Methodist Worship Center located at 365 East Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT- 06608 at 9:00 am- 12:00pm Interment will follow to Lakeview Cemetery where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and faith.
