Hector Borges

Hector Luis Borges, age 48, of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away on May 26, 2022 in Waterbury Gardens in Waterbury, Connecticut. On November 6, 1973 Hector was welcomed into the world by his beloved parents Luis Alberto Borges and Carmen Lydia Nieves in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Hector was affectionately known as "Tuto." He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching sports and spending time with his family. He was obsessed with the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bears and The New York Yankees. He had one of the biggest hearts to ever exist. He graduated from Central High School where he was an All-State basketball player. He was very supporting and caring and was always willing to help someone in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him. Hector is predeceased by his father Luis Alberto Borges. He is survived by his mother Carmen Lebron his son Jonathan Borges ( Anita Garcia) and his daughter Makayla Borges; sisters Yvette Ruiz (Tito Ruiz SR.) and Maria Nieves (Joseph Crowell); baby brother Angel Vargas Jr.; nephews Tito Ruiz JR., David Ruiz; nieces Danny Beceril, Jennifer Ruiz, Stefani Crowell, Oddo De La Cruz; uncle and best friend John Mercer and his forever friend from childhood Eathon Buster; sister/best friend Nancy Williams and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Hector was a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, and the best father in the world.
