Gumersinda 'Cindy' Velez

Gumersinda "Cindy" Velez Gumersinda "Cindy" Velez, age 38, suddenly entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 15th, 2009. Cindy was a bright, humble and kindhearted woman, who lent a helping hand to all those who were around her. She lit up the room with her infectious smile and was a ray of light to all. Cindy was a Bridgeport resident for 20 years. She was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico to the late Gonzalo Velez and surviving mother Maria Adorno. Cindy was the youngest of five children, survived by siblings; Frank Hernandez, Jose Velez, Linda Velez and Maria Velez. She is also survived by three loving children; Cinthya Lopez, Russell and Humberto Aguirre, all of whom will miss her dearly. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 20th, 2009 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow to Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Ave., Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family, Wednesday, August 19th, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Community Funeral Chapels.
