Graciano 'Chano / Tanin' Garcia

Graciano Garcia, age 77, of Bridgeport, CT passed away on August 1, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. On February 20, 1944 Graciano was welcomed into the world by his beloved parents Graciano Garcia Ocasio and Iluminada Vazquez Collazo in Corozal, Puerto Rico. Graciano was affectionately known as Chano or Tanin. Chano loved family gatherings, "musica tipica" and playing the "guiro". He enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid fan of the Mets. Chano is predeceased by his wife Lydia Colon with whom he was married for almost 50 years. He is survived by: sons Luis Daniel, Javier Antonio and Ivan (Michelle); grandchildren Roberto, Daniel, Christopher, Crystal, Christian, Chrisavier, Naima, Nianna and a host of extended family and friends in Puerto Rico. Chano will be sorely missed by his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
