Gloria Ester Calderon, 68, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 27, 2016 peacefully in her home. Gloria was a single hardworking strict mother of four. She was a strong woman that was appointed caretaker of her family. Gloria was truthful and was loved by everyone. Gloria was born Wednesday, April 7th 1948 in Bronx, New York. She was the second oldest of five. The beloved daughter of the late Mr. Juan & Mrs. Marcelina Vivo. Gloria is survived by: her daughter, Marisol & son-in-law Rocky Samas of Bridgeport, CT; sons, Raul & daughter-in-law Jennifer Calderon of Bridgeport, CT, Joey Calderon of North Carolina, Johnny & daughter-in-law Shirley Trujillo of Bridgeport, CT; siblings, John Vivo, George Vivo & sister-in-law Myrna Vivo, Maria Torres, Miriam Hernandez & brother-in-law Peter Hernandez, Vivian Rijos & brother-in-law Steve Rijos; grandchildren, Sean Calderon, Angelo Richardson, Jocelyn Lopez, Marcie Calderon, Daphnee Trujillo, Kaylee Trujillo, Rocky Samas Jr.; four great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who will cherish Gloria's memory forever.
