Gladys Nieves, age 65, of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest Friday, January 17, 2014. Gladys was a great cook, loved music and a great dancer. Gladys was a happy and loving person who was helpful to everyone. Gladys was born Tuesday, May 4, 1948 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico the fifth child of the late Miguel Nieves and Eva Lydia Rosa. Gladys is survived her longtime companion Rufino Santos, her five children; Sandy Rivera, Randy Rivera, Elizabeth, Julio Cesar and Roberto. Gladys is also survived her five siblings; Teofila Nieves, Maria Nieves, Mariano Nieves, Nicholasa Nieves and William Nieves. Gladys leaves to treasure her memories to her six grandchildren; Shanell Woolard, Denzel Woolard, Sandy Nieves, Randy Rivera, Lianni Rivera and Jayden Rivera.
