Gladys E Lopez

Gladys E. Lopez, age 76 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 17, 2019 in her home in Bridgeport, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Gladys was born December 24, 1942 in Caguas, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Carmelo Lopez and Candida Torres. Gladys was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Gladys worked hard to provide for her family, she was a tailor and hairdresser. She was a beautiful and happy woman. Some of Gladys enjoyments in life were knitting and her favorite candy was chocolate. Gladys had a strong bond with her family as many would say that she was always faithful to her family. Gladys is survived by her 2 sons, Pedro Velez, Rafael Canales; daughter, Jenny Canales; brother, Benjamin Lopez; 2 sisters, Norma Lopez and Virma Lopez; 4 grandchildren, Miriam Velez, Rebecca Velez, Michael Rivera, and Alex Gordian; 2 great grandchildren, Sophia Rivera and Noriel Gordian and a host of family and friends who will cherish her memory.
