George 'Gee' Rivera

George Rivera known as Gee, age 60, of the Bronx, New York, the spouse of Dorothy Rivera, passed into eternal rest January 31, 2023 at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. George was born on April 9, 1962 in Bridgeport, CT., the beloved son of George Morales & Elma Iris Rivera. George was raised with 5 siblings and attended Bridgeport public schools. He was considered a smooth gentleman with an unforgettable smile that would light up a room. George liked sports of all types. He was an avid Yankees and Raiders fan. In his pastime he often attended Yankees games and played dominos. George was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, husband, father and friend. George was predeceased by his mother Elma I. Rivera, brother Elias Morales, maternal and paternal grandparents. George is survived by: spouse, Dorothy Rivera; 2 children, George Rivera, Jr., Marlene Kimberly Rivera; father, George Morales; 2 brothers, Pedro E. Tosado sister-in-law Angeline Tosado of New York; Juan A. Rivera sister-in-law Loarina Rivera of Naugatuck, CT; 2 sisters, Magda Ramos brother-in-law Reinaldo Ramos of Bridgeport, CT; Elba A. Tosado brother-in-law Darren Pokrinchak of Bridgeport, CT; fianc, Jackie Ramos; 13 nieces and nephews; a host of great nieces and nephews extended family and friends where his memory will live on.
