Generosa Gonzalez

Generosa Gonzalez, aged 82, of Bridgeport, CT, peacefully passed away at Bridgeport Hospital on February 12, 2024.

Born on November 3, 1941, in Puerto Rico to Edelmira and Pedro Gonzalez. Generosa was a loving and caring individual. Raised in Puerto Rico, she later relocated to Bridgeport, CT, where she built a life filled with love and compassion.

Generosa was a devoted mother to her children, Michael Gonzalez and Carmen Garcia. She is survived by her son Michael, daughter Carmen, beloved sister Isabel Gonzalez, nieces Melitza Gonzalez, Jessica Cotto, Daisy Cotto, nephews George Diaz, Jose Cotto, and grandchildren Rosemary Lopez, Ahmed, and Omar.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604. A burial service will follow at the Park Cemetery Association, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606. Generosa Gonzalez will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her kindness and warmth.
