Frederic Edward 'Fred' Tetreault

Frederic Edward Tetreault, age 82 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 10, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by the love and support of his family. Fred was a dedicated father of three. A veteran of the US Marines, Fred proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He spent forty years living in Brazil where he founded the "American Language Center," in Sao Paulo and operated a farm called the American Kimber Chicks. Frederic was an ordained Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church, serving both St. Peter's Church in Danbury, and St. Charles' Church in Bridgeport. He will be remembered for his compassion for others. Frederic was born December 28, 1934 in Attleboro, Mass, the beloved son of the late Paul & Agnes Tetreault. He is survived by: former wives, Eliane Muller & Stella Tetreault; three daughters, Gloria Marie Tetreault of Brazil; Gisele & son-in-law Luiz Teixeria of Bridgeport; Sarah Tetreault & son-in-law Charles Boaventura of Bridgeport; two brothers, Richard Tetreault & Paul Tetreault; four grandchildren, Rodrigo Teixeira, Thigo Teixeira, Camila Teixeira, and Giovanna Boaventura; two great grandchildren, Chloe Teixeira & Thomas Teixeira; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish Frederic's memory. A Memorial Service in honor of Frederic will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 commencing at 7:30pm at St. Charles Borromeo Church 1255 E. Main St. Bridgeport, CT. 06608.
