Frank Robert Edwards, age 59 of Bridgeport CT, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. Frank fondly known to most as Frankie was born in Huntington, Long Island, New York on March 8, 1958, to the beloved late James Henry Edwards & Carrie Lee (Batts) Edwards. He was predeceased in death by: sons, Frankie D. Edwards & Daniel D. Speller; and brothers, Ronald Batts & James (Lil Jim) Edwards. Frankie was a free-spirited man who loved to entertain his family and friends. He worked on construction and moving jobs but his real passion was playing instruments, singing and dancing, and he loved to cook. He will be most remembered for his ability to always make others laugh, his music, and the nicknames he gave to people. Frankie is survived by: daughter, Taniesha Reeves & son-in-law Andre of Bridgeport; daughter, Sherika Speller of Bridgeport; daughter, Keyhuana Clark of Long Island; sister, Juanita Gill(Mike); brother Richard Batts(Roberta); sister, Winifred Batts(Reginald); sister, Joan Debnam(Michael); brother, Walter Edwards(Tracey); sister, Irene Rouse(Alvis); brother, Keith Edwards(Mardella); grandchildren, Taniyah Reeves, Andre Reeves Jr., Ky'ira Speller, Avei'yon Reeves, Keysha Gupta, Ayasia Alfred, Cadasia Alfred, Zyana Clark; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. When you think about Frankie. just remember he loved everyone and although we will miss him and he will miss his family especially his daughters and grandchildren, think about the smile he must have on his face to see his sons, parents, and brothers again.
