Francois Lorthe

Francois Lorthe, age 73, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on March 7, 2022 in St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On February 17, 1949 Francois was welcomed into the world by his beloved parents Idalia Guirand and Jean Lorthe in Fort de Blanc, Haiti where he was also raised. Francois was affectionately known as "Joe, Uncle Fine and Tabenac" he loved dancing, listening to music and spending time with his sisters. Francois is predeceased by his: parents Jean Lorthe and Idalia Guirand; siblings Therese, Raymond and Robert. He is survived by his: children, Francoise Lorthe, Evens Lorthe, Naika Lorthe and Rodney Lorthe; grandchildren, Monifa Brown, Isabella Aurelus, Naeva Francois-Lorthe, Lethicia Phillipe and Naythan Jacques; sisters, Olina Lorthe, Marie (Zette) Lorthe and brother in-law, Dominique Guirand; nieces and nephews, Yves-Rene, JF, Pierre, Wilvire, Yanick, Francky, Dominique Jr., Shelly, Stanley and dozens of great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
