Francisco "Frank" Gomez

Francisco “Frank” Gomez, age 62, of West Haven, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at Yale–New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus. Born on November 12, 1963, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of Juana Ramos Pedraza and Francisco Gomez.

Frank was raised between San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, and the Bronx, New York, experiences that shaped his strong work ethic and his big heart. He was known as an extremely hard-working man who dedicated his life to providing for his family and helping others whenever he could. He had a brilliant mind, a great sense of humor, and a love for good food.A true jack-of-all-trades, Frank worked extensively with electronics. He was an electrician, worked with computers and cable systems, and was also a skilled mechanic. His talent extended into home repair and maintenance, where he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Frank is survived by his two loving sons, Sean Gomez and Norman Gomez. He is predeceased by his mother, Juana Ramos Pedraza, and his son, Francisco "Pancho" Gomez. He is also survived by his four siblings: Lizette Contreras, Zulma Rivera, Glenda Ortiz, and Francisco Delgado.

A memorial service for Frank will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06604. TEL:203-334-9999. Interment will be held privately.
