Francesca 'Frances' Lopez

Francesca "Frances" Lopez, age 64, of Bridgeport, entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Bridgeport Hospital. Frances was the third of six, born to Segundo Lopez & Isabel Diaz in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on April 25, 1958. She was raised in the catholic faith and at a very young age learned the values of caring, nourishing and extending a helpful hand to those in need. By the age of 11 her and her family migrated to Connecticut where she attended Bridgeport Public Schools. Frances was a mother of 3 and a second mother to many that came over for home cooked meals and honest advice. Her work came naturally as companion, her life was fulfilled with constant caring dedication to others. Frances is predeceased by her father Segundo Lopez Sr., her two brothers Segundo Lopez Jr. and Oscar Lopez also her best friend of over 30 years William Riccio. Frances leaves to cherish and keep her memory alive, her dear mother Miss Isabel Diaz Ortiz, her three children, Heriberto Colon Jr., Veronica Rivera and Victor Gomez; her loving grandchildren Manuel Colon, Sebastian Colon and Vianna Colon and Janiah Santiago; her siblings Angela Delgado, Maria Santiago, Fernando Lopez, Jose D. Lopez, Rosa Lopez, Elvis Lopez, William Lopez and Jeanette Lopez. Frances also has her loving nieces, nephews and a long list of loving friends.
