Felicia Diane Pride

Felicia Diane Pride, age 54, of Bridgeport, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Bridgeport Hospital.

Felicia was born on July 4, 1969, in Bridgeport CT. to the late Marie Pride and George Hall and was affectionately known as Boo. Felicia grew up in Father Panic Village on the east side of Bridgeport. Felicia had three siblings, Anthony Pride, Tyshan Pride, and her sister Brenda Shields.

Felicia and her companion of 30 years, Kevin Sallie raised their only child Tynesha Pride. Felicia was a strong, loving mom. Felicia had a passion for helping others which is why she worked as a counselor in a halfway house called Next Step. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo and Spades.

Felicia is survived by her daughter, Tynesha Pride; her two brothers, Anthony Pride and Tyshan Pride; her sister Brenda Shields; her grandson, Javon Gay; her nieces, Anttaisha Pride, Alyssa Pride; her nephews Anthony Pride, Ahmir Pride, Andre Johnson and a host of cousins, extended family and friends that will honor her memory forever.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. A Home Going Service will proceed from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at Community Funeral Chapels 798 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT. 06604. Tel:203-334-9999. Interment will be held privately.
