Federico Alicea

Federico Alicea, "Yico", as he was affectionately known, age 68, of Bridgeport, passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Friday, February 26, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was a resident of Bridgeport for 52 years. He had worked as a machinist and was a "Cursillista" in St. Mary's Church. Yico was a great dominoes, pool and card player. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico January 19, 1948, Federico was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo and Mercedes; his brothers, Casimiro, Juan, Arturo, Ismael; and one sister, Maria Mercedes Colon. His memory will be cherished by: four brothers, Ramon Octavio, Luis, Carmelo Jr., Miguel Angel; four sisters, Francisca Acevedo, Carmen Rivera, Ines Rivera, Herminia Orellana; also many nephews, nieces and other relatives who will remember his generous heart and hearty laugh. Friends may greet the family Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
