Ezell Carter

Ezell Carter, age 86, of Bridgeport, entered into heavenly Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Ezell was the widow of the late J.P. Carter married for over forty years. Humble and giving Ezell was a loving mother of six, she helped raise her grandchildren with a strong faith in God. She enjoyed playing the piano, dancing and being active in Astoria Park Healthcare where she spent her later years. Ezell was the seventh born of eight children, the daughter of the late James and Rachel Mae Glover on Wednesday, October 10, 1928 in Sumter, South Carolina. Ezell is survived by two daughters, WillaMae Thomas of Queens, NY., Jennifer Carter & son-in-law Christian Walker of Bridgeport, CT., two sister Irene Dargan, Rodell Wagner, a host of great grandchildren and extended family and friends that will cherish Ezell's memory. In death Ezell reunites with her husband, parents, her four children,Rodalle Robinson, Ronald Glover, Yvonne Carter, Patrica Cater, three brothers, Clee Glover, Clinton Glover, Albert Glover, two sisters, Hattiemae Royster and Aretha Smalls.
