Evelyn Gama Paparelli, devoted wife of Marcos Pereira Paparelli, passed peacefully at her home in Stratford, CT at the age of 52 on March 16, 2023. Born and raised in Sao Paolo, Brazil to Jose Luiz Abreu do Amaral Gama and Alice Aparecida Scavacini Gama on July 15, 1970. Evelyn was one of three children. Evelyn and Marcos were blissfully married for 23 years. In addition to her son, Rick, they brought their sons Felipe and Gabriel into the world and raised them with all the love and care a child could ask for. Evelyn came to the States at the age of 26 because her youngest son needed medical attention and she decided to stay there with her husband and her family. Evelyn worked as an office manager at Macman Insurance. She had a giving heart and loved to help people, both in her job at the insurance company and in her community. Evelyn loved to dance, listen to music, and travel. Her and Marcos would travel to new places any chance they got. Most importantly, Marcos said that "she loved her kids like crazy." She was a devoted mother, wife, aunt, and friend. Evelyn is predeceased by her father, Jose. She is survived by her husband, Marcos; her mother, Alice; her sons Rick, Felipe, and Gabriel; her brothers, Ricardo and Felipe; her nieces Luana, Bianca, Abigail, and Desiree; and her nephew Luis. A host of friends will also continue to honor and cherish her memory.
