Eva R. Crowder Mrs. Eva R. Crowder, age 47, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 20th, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital, with her family by her side. Eva was married to her surviving husband, Mr. James A. Crowder. She was a caring mother to Mr. Edward D. Williams, Mr. Robert L. Crowder Jr. She was also a loving sister to Mr. John Foster & Mr. Anthony Acosta and a dear friend to Ms. Darlene Brown, the godmother of her children. She had many godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends, Friday, October 24th, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. A funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. Interment will be held Saturday at 11 a.m in The Park Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10 a.m., Saturday.
