Esteban Perez Esteban Perez born Christmas day, December 25th, 1942 took our Lord's hand and entered eternal rest on Palm Sunday, March 28th, 2010. Esteban was born to the late Tomas and Altagracia Perez in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. In 1949 the Perez family moved to Connecticut and Esteban started his legacy. Esteban is survived by his beloved wife Alida and siblings: Benjamin, Maria (Hank), Carmen Iris, Thomas (Margie) and Tommy ( Nancy). Esteban is also survived by his nine children: Sophia, Tony (Tanya), Jamilla (Eric), Esteban Jr., Aisha, Leticia, Rachaan, Che and Sabino. Esteban leaves nine grandchildren, a host of nephews and nieces who all adored him. Esteban was predeceased by brothers Efrain and Ramon Perez. In addition to loving his family, having a great way with children and always being able to make one laugh to tears, Esteban will be remembered for his love of Seaside Park where he ran, walked or rode his bicycle during all types of weather as a means to enjoy nature, exercise, meditate and relax. Esteban lived a full life. He was thoughtful and was always willing to help others. Esteban will be lovingly remembered and missed by many. However, we are grateful that he is now with the Lord and not suffering. Funeral Service held Thursday, April 1st, 2010 at 10:00 am at Community Funeral Chapels, interment will follow to Lakeview Cemetery 885 Boston Ave. Friends may greet the family from Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm, at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave. For further information please contact 203-334-9999.
