Esmie Maud Dennis 'Momsy' Anderson

Esmie Maud Dennis Anderson, "Momsy" Age 79, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 11th, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital. Esmie owned and operated Andy's Hair Parlor in Jamaica. She was a loving, caring and forgiving soul. Esmie was originally from Priory, St. Ann, Jamaica and moved to the United States thirty-eight years ago. She lived in NY for less than half of that time and was currently residing in Washington Heights Apartments, 115 Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Esmie was born March 15th, 1933, the daughter of the late Lottie James and Albert Dennis. Esmie is survived by: two sons, Noel and Gaston Jr., daughters-in-law Lavern of CT, Lillian of NY, five grandchildren, Naphtalie and Kasiem of MA , Michaela and Carter of CT, Rochelle of NY, three sisters, Gladys Gordon of Jamaica, Hazel Phillips of NY, and Valda Dennis of FL, former husband Gaston Anderson Sr. of CT. Esmie is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memories. Friends may greet the family on Friday, May 18th, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Calvary St George's Episcopal Church; 755 Clinton Ave, Bridgeport, CT. 06604, followed by a mass of Christian Burial from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
