Emma Hernandez

Emma Rose Hernandez, age 74 Bridgeport, CT, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Hamden, CT. She was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the matriarch, family was everything to Emma. Emma was always available with open arms and a home cooked meal. Emma had a gift for organization and attention to detail. She took pride in her cleanliness, from the way she decorated her home to never having a hair out of place. In addition to Vincent Millet, her father, and Wilfredo Hernandez, her husband of 53 years, Emma was predeceased by her daughter, Jacqueline Hernandez. Along with Gregloria Millet, her mother, Emma is survived by her: daughter, Elsa Hernandez Montanez & son-in-law Ricardo Montanez; son, Wilfredo Hernandez Jr.; son, Antonio Hernandez & daughter-in-law Miriam Hernandez; daughter, Emma I. Hernandez Mendez & son-in-law Jose Mendez; daughter, Miriam Hernandez Xavier & son-in-law Agnaldo Xavier; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory. She now passes the torch to her eldest child, Elsa Hernandez Montanez to keep her wishes and keep the family together.
