Elsa Maria Rincón, age 88, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, entered eternal rest on August 17, 2025, at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home.
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Elsa was the beloved wife of Cesario Rincón. She was one of eight children and is survived by her siblings Miledi Martinez, Josefina Martinez, Altagracia Martinez, Francisca Ferrera, Miguel Martinez, Antonio Martinez, and Alfredo Martinez.
Elsa was a sweet, friendly, and vibrant woman who will be remembered for her love of cooking, her joy in gathering with family, and her devotion to her church. She had a passion for dressing beautifully, always carrying herself with grace and elegance. Elsa also had a creative spirit and worked in designing and painting picture frames, leaving behind work that reflected her artistry.
Above all, Elsa cherished her family. She is survived by her loving children Ana María Rodríguez, Eddy Rincon, Felicia Bautista, Carlos Rincon and Freddy Rodriguez. She was a proud grandmother to Milka Rodríguez, Esthefany Rodríguez, Jorge Manuel Rodríguez, Anyelis Almonte, Natalia Almonte, Athan Kaze Rincón, Henry Rodríguez, Freddy Rodríguez, and Jino Rodríguez. Her warmth and love will continue to live on in their hearts.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Community Funeral Chapels and will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
