Elizabeth Guzman

Elizabeth "Ely" Guzman, aged 54, of Bridgeport, entered eternal rest on March 20, 2024, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Born on September 15, 1969, in Bridgeport, she was the cherished daughter of Wilda and Carlos Guzman. Elizabeth, affectionately known as Ely, grew up in a Catholic household alongside her two siblings.

Known for her caring and compassionate nature, Ely was outgoing and had a silly side that endeared her to many. She found joy in simple pleasures in arts and crafts such as coloring, drawing, and writing poems. As a devoted mother of two daughters, Melissa Castro and Vanessa Guzman, Ely's love knew no bounds.

In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her siblings, Wanda Guzman and Carlos Guzman, along with sister-in-law Marcelina Guzman. Her legacy also includes two grandchildren, Francisco Matos and Christiano M. Quieros, as well as six nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members.
