Elizabeth Liz Penix Barreiro

Elizabeth Liz Penix Barreiro, age 56, of Bridgeport entered into heavenly rest Friday, October 31, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Elizabeth was happy, energetic and an outgoing person who liked to party. She was a caring person with a great sense of humor who enjoyed to cook. Elizabeth was born on Wednesday, December 4, 1957 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Juana Vazquez and the late Julio Barreiro. Elizabeth was married to her late husband Willie James Penix for 11 years. Elizabeth is survived by her children; Gilbert Oviedo III, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cabrera, Richard Oviedo and Elizabeth Perez, siblings; Maria Rivera and Julio Barreiro Jr. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories to her grandchildren; Emely Ann Oviedo Colon, Liz Marie Oviedo Cabrera, Joseph A. Oviedo Cabrera and Catheryn Mychelle Perez. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by a host of extended family and friends.
