Edwin S. "Action Boy" Rivera Jr. Edwin S. "Action Boy" Rivera, 19, of Bridgeport, tragically lost his life Saturday, June 7, 2008. A senior at Bassick High School in Bridgeport, Rivera was also known for his extreme passion of poetry, lyrical writing, music and wrestling. Rivera is survived by his parents Marilyn Sanchez and Edwin Rivera, along with his siblings Rosemarie and Phil Fuentes and Jessica Rivera. A charismatic young man, Rivera will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 11th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Community Funeral Chapels, located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Funeral services will take place Thursday, June 12th at 10 a.m. at Community Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at the Park Cemetery in Bridgeport.
