Edwin Ortiz, Age 49, of Bridgeport, CT passed into heavenly rest on October 25, 2023, at Hartford Hospital.
Edwin Ortiz was born on August 2, 1974, in Bridgeport, CT to the late Aida Luz Colon and Rafael Ortiz.
Edwin was a loving, caring, and family-oriented individual.
He was a loving Father to his only daughter Nia Ortiz.
He was employed at Boost Oxygen.
He enjoyed taking trips to the casino, having movie nights with family, cooking, eating, spending quality time with his siblings.
Besides his parents, Edwin was predeceased by his 3 siblings: Yolanda Zayas, Jose Antonio Zayas, Carlos Raul Zayas.
Edwin was survived by his 4 siblings Julia Zayas, Rafael Zayas, Angel Louis Zayas, Enrique Zayas and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a memorial mass held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 11:00am at St. Charles Church- 391 Ogden Street Bridgeport, CT 06608. Interment will be held privately.
