Edwin 'Dj Stacy' Nieves

Edwin "DJ Stacy" Nieves, age 48, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal peace Monday, July 29th, 2013 at St. Vincent's Medical Center with his loving family by his side. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Edwin was born Monday, March 1st, 1965, the only son of adoring parents Ramon and Porfiria Nieves. Good natured, with a great sense of humor, Edwin always had a smile on his face; he enjoyed music of all sorts and computer games. Humble and hardworking, even as his health declined Edwin dedicated himself to working around the home he made with his loving wife of 27 years, Carmen Nieves. Edwin's quite strength and gentle presence will be missed by all who had the pleasure and honor to have known him. Edwin is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen Nieves; his adoring sisters, Marisol Clark and Yolanda Cifredo; his cherished in-laws Victor Jimenez Sr., Carmen Diaz, Victor Jimenez Jr. , Miguel Jimenez, Hector Sonera and Vidal Cifredo ; as well as a host of nieces and nephews treasured as his own children and in whose smiles and laughter he will always be found; Audrey Diaz, Denise Acevedo, Pedro Roman, Charlie Roman, Shayla Roman, Nathan Roman, Natasha Cifredo, Naya Cifredo, Edgar Joel Jimenez, David Diaz, Xavier Diaz, Jayden Diaz Jr. and Elliot Acevedo. Additionally Edwin leaves to cherish his memory cousins Freddy and Carlos Nieves as well as the rest of the Nieves family and his beloved aunts Titi Maria and Titi Zaida and the Hernandez family. With his passing Edwin reunites with his loving parents, Ramon and Porfiria, and his brother-in-law, David L. Clark.
