Edwin 'Chino' Fernandez

Edwin "Chino" Fernandez, age 60 of Rocky Hill, CT., entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 60 West Center, Rocky Hill, CT. surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Edwin was born January 19, 1959 in Bridgeport, CT., the beloved son of Fernando Fernandez Sr. & the late Sarah (Zapata) Fernandez. Edwin was a kind and devoted son, brother, and friend. He was a true sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching football and baseball. Edwin was happiest while spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. In addition to his mother, Edwin was predeceased by his brother, Richard Fernandez-Gonzalez. Along with his father, Edwin is survived by his five siblings; Fernando Fernandez Jr., Arminda Fernandez, Marlene Fernandez, David Pesquera, and Rolando Pesquera; and a host of extended family and friends to cherish his memory.
