Edward 'Fry' Estrada

Edward "Fry" Estrada, age 47, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 15, 2018. Edward was born October 8, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York; the beloved son of the late Francisco Estrada & Narcisa DeJesus. Edward was a loving and dedicated father, brother, and friend to many. He was extremely caring and always put others before himself. Edward had a positive outlook on life and enjoyed sharing his optimism. He was known for always lending a listening ear or a helping hand to anyone in need. Edward's compassionate personality and keenly sharp mind made him the perfect go-to friend. Everyone knew he would do anything for his family and friends. He was a loyal, understanding, and forgiving man who left a tremendous impact on those who knew him. Edward was extremely strong-willed. He never let a situation get him down. No task was too difficult nor burden too heavy. Edward took pride in himself and faced every situation with determination and strength. He was an avid reader and had a deep passion for music which he used as an outlet and way to express himself. Edward loved to sing and was good at it too. He'd happily live up to any request, be it salsa, R&B or even a peaceful lullaby. Overall, Edward was an outstanding person whose happy memories will live on in everyone lucky enough to have called him a friend. He was a completely genuine man. "To know him is to love him." Edward is survived by his: daughter, Elizabeth Estrada; sister, Frances Estrada; sister, Madeline Estrada; sister, Nelly Estrada; brother, Frankie Estrada; brother, Manuel Estrada; brother, Juan Estrada; sister, Carmen Estrada; brother, Orlando Estrada; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
