Eddie Antonio Vega

Eddie A. Vega, age 65 of Bridgeport, CT. entered into peaceful rest on November 9th 2020 at Norwalk Hospital In Ciales, Puerto Rico on February 26, 1955 Julio Vega & Teresita Vega were blessed with a son they named Eddie Antonio Vega. Eddie Vega the man who lays before you, was a devoted father to his two sons Anthony and Joseph Vega. But there are many who can say he was the father figure they needed in their lives ( he loved his many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces/ nephews very much). He was a man of many talents, who never let his physical handicap hold him back. He was a proud man, who taught us to be proud of our island and heritage. If you ever did something great, it was because you were a Vega, reminding us, it was in our blood to be great. Eddie Vega was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was the first one up in the morning ready to get the day started. He loved to be around people and loved to dance.( Dancing was his specialty) Always teaching the young ones the moves. As the years passed his hard exterior softened and the stern patriarch of our family became our silly, funny Tio Eddie. And this is how we will forever remember him. Besides his parents Eddie was predeceased by: siblings, Jose Luis , Alberto and Else Vega. Eddie is survived by: the mother of his children, Ruth Rodriguez: sons, Eddie A Vega Jr; Joseph D. Vega; siblings, Julio Vega, Samuel Vega, Mineva Vega, Ada Vega; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish his memory.
