Dionisia Correa, age 87, of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away on May 13, 2022 with her loving family by her side in her home in Bridgeport. On March 24, 1935 Dionisia was welcomed into the world by her beloved parents in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Dionisia was affectionately known as "Ada." She had 9 children. Dionisia is predeceased by: father Pedro Correa; spouse Luis Matos Sr.; sons George and Ramon Matos. She is survived by: daughter Iliana Matos; sons Richardo, Luis Matos, Miguel Angel Saldana, Norberto saldana; brother Salvador Correa; niece Wanda Correa; grandsons Contino McCullough wife Damaris McCullough and their daughter Adanivea McCullough, Shawn Smith wife Wanda Smith and their sons Andre and Jeremiah's Smith, Joshua Hernandez and Patrick Matos; granddaughters Chiomara Matos and her children Kiomara, Liz Rodriguez Marielys Torres, Josue Candelaria, Jennifer Matos and her daughters Kaitlin and Brianna Delgado, Caroline Matos and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
