Dione "Dee" Winter-Darden, age 46, of Waterbury, the spouse of James Darden for 11 years, entered into peaceful rest Sunday, June 12th 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital Waterbury, CT. Dione was a special, beautiful, caring, thoughtful and loving sister, mother and friend to many. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT. she later resided in Waterbury for the last nine years. She was formally a student at Stone Academy, her occupation was a CNA. She brought joy and laughter as she helped others. She will be missed. Although she won't be here physically, she'll mentally embedded in all our hearts forever. God has her now, for one day we will meet again. Dione Winter-Darden was born April 15, 1970 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The beloved daughter of the late Jasper Winter and surviving mother, Naomi Leak of Bridgeport, CT. Dione is also survived by: spouse, James Darden; daughters, Shaquest Winter, Raynesha Winter; son, Morris Holman; sister, Addie Leak all of Waterbury, CT; brothers, Phillip Leak, Anthony Winter Bridgeport, CT; three grandchildren, Xavier Daniels-Winter, Tristian Daniels-Winter, Aiden Daniels-Winter of Waterbury, CT; and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish her memory.
