Diomedes 'Benny' Rodriguez Cruz

Diomedes Rodriguez Cruz, age 83, of Derby, Connecticut passed away on July 12, 2022 in Windsor, Connecticut. On August 16, 2022 Diomedes was welcomed into the world by his beloved parents Lino Cruz and Petra Rodriguez in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Diomedes was affectionately known as "Benny." His grew up in a large family with 16 siblings. Diomedes was raised most of his life in Puerto Rico, he relocated to New York and then Connecticut. Diomedes was a musician he loved singing and playing guitar. Diomedes worked as a bus and truck driver, he was a dedicated provider. He is predeceased by his wife Natividad Cruz; parents Lino Cruz and Petra Rodriguez. Diomedes is survived by his 5 children; 11 grandchildren; a host of many great grandchildren; extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
