Diane Marie Ginty

Diane Marie Ginty, 74, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in her hometown.

Born on September 29, 1951, in Bridgeport, Diane was the daughter of Lewis Anastas and Frances LeClerc Anastas. She was raised in Bridgeport and Trumbull, and spent most of her adult life in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she built a life centered on care, learning, and quiet dedication to others.

Diane devoted her career to education, working as a teacher and educator. She took pride in her role shaping young minds and approached her work with patience, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Anastas, who passed in 2014. Diane is lovingly remembered by her nieces—Nicole Keough, Christina Lynch, Tracy Anastas, Kimberley Ganly, and Lisa Anastas—and her nephew, Frank Esposito. She also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will remember her with affection.

Diane will be remembered for her steady presence, her dedication to her profession, and the meaningful connections she shared with those around her.
