David Ortiz, age 59, of Waterbury, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 12, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. David was born Thursday, April 13, 1955 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico sixth child to the late Anitudoso Ortiz and Concepcion Diaz. David is survived by his companion Carmen Rodriguez and his son, Danael Ortiz. David is also survived by his siblings; Anitudoso, Josue, Wilfredo, Neftali, Abigail, David, Edwin, Evelyn, Damaris, Samuel, Abimelech, and Juanita Ortiz. David also leaves to cherish his memories to his grandchildren; Damylianet Ortiz and Danael Ortiz Jr. David will be greatly missed by a host of extended family and friends.
