David Jimenez

David "Mohawk" Jimenez, age 55 of Philadelphia, PA., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a long battle with cancer. David was born November 29, 1963, in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico; the beloved son of Luis Jimenez & Graciana Torres -De Jimenez. His parents moved to Connecticut with his sister, and older brothers at a young age. As a young adult he moved to Philadelphia and lived with Tia Toa until he got married. He has 7 children and 4 stepchildren he held dear to him. David loved boxing, football and baseball. He was proud of his Puerto Rican roots and was not afraid to show it. He loved cooking Spanish food as much as he loved eating it. David always had a presence that lit up the room when he walked in. He was always smiling, laughing, and joking around. He was straight forward and stern in a loving way. He was strong minded and did things his way with no regrets. David is survived by his Children: Lynnette, David Jr., Robert, Christina, Michelle, Michael, Leyanani: Step children: Nelson, Jesus, Jessica, Cruz: Spouse Maria Alvarez: 17 grandchildren. David is also survived by his Mother Graciana: Sister: Maria, Brother: Orlando and a host of nephews and nieces.
