David Purdy Hunt, 93, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025. Born on October 14, 1931, he was the beloved son of the late Evelyn Hunt of Ossining, New York. David relocated to Bridgeport in 1985, where he built a warm and loving home.
David proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of Corporal. After his military service, he pursued a career as an electrician, a trade he practiced with great skill and dedication. He was also a talented handyman who found joy in woodworking, always ready to lend a hand or build something beautiful for those he loved.
In 1975, David married the love of his life, Blanca Hunt (Pabon). Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, faith, and family. A devoted husband, brother, and friend, David was known for his warm heart, strong faith in God, and joyful spirit. He loved to laugh and brought light to every room he entered.
David was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn, and his brother, Elliot Hunt. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Blanca, and a legacy of love, service, and craftsmanship.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
