Daniel Joseph Donofrio Jr.

Daniel Joseph Donofrio Jr., age 64 of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 at his residence. He was originally from Stratford. Daniel had a long history of various careers as an electrician for the town of Stratford, Bridgeport Hospital, Electric Boat Co. Etc. Daniel also served with 242nd National Guard. He was an Avid model airplane builder and flyer, who belonged to several model airplane clubs. Daniel was born April 27th, 1948 the son of the late Daniel Joseph Sr. and Hazel Donofrio. Daniel was the eldest of three, survived by siblings Leonard and sister-in-law Linda Donofrio of Stratford and Richard and sister-in-law Marilyn Donofrio of Stratford. Daniel is also survived by son Daniel J. Donofrio III and daughter Debbie Donofrio and one grandchild. Also survived by his companion for many years, Carol Crean.
