Cruz Rivera 'Cruzita' Ayala

Cruz "Cruzita" Rivera Ayala Cruz "Cruzita" Rivera Ayala, age 91 of Bridgeport, entered into heavenly rest Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Cruzita resided her later years in Bridgeport, Connecticut with daughter Julia Justiniano. Cruzita was the widow of the late David Pitre. She was a hardworking house keeper, strict in her ways, very religious and with God's mercy she raised her ten children and a number of grandchildren which all referred to her as "Mother". Cruzita was born May 3rd, 1920 in Maricao, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Eufemia Ayala. She later married Juan Justiniano for fifteen years and had nine children. Survived by eight offsprings from eldest to youngest: Wilson, Angelita, Bartolo, Julia, Ana Lydia, Ramon, Miriam Justiniano, and Ana Mirta Maldonado. Cruzita is also survived by forty-two grandchildren, eighty great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren that will cherish her memory. Cruzita is now reunited with her two predeceased sons, Angel and German Justiniano. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, April 19th, 2012 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Community Funeral Chapels located at 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Interment will be held privately.
