She was born in Itagui, Antioquia, Colombia, to her parents Gerardo Antonio Gonzalez Carmona and Gabriella Del Socorro Velasquez Florez. Claudia was raised in Itagui alongside her siblings Ofelia, John Jairo, Jorge, Daniel, Gloria, and Adrianna.

Claudia's warm, loving nature and dedication to her family defined her personality. She cherished her role as a mother, providing nurturing guidance to her son, Joshua. Balancing her responsibilities at home, in church, and at work as an assistant teacher, Claudia displayed unwavering dedication and kept her word in all endeavors. She expressed her affectionate and unique character to her friends and family, openly sharing her emotions for her son and husband. Claudia's loving presence was a testament to her exceptional qualities.

In her free time, Claudia enjoyed riding her bike, shopping, listening to music, staying updated with TV news, and writing poems. These hobbies allowed her to express her creativity and find joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Jorge, and her siblings Daniel, Gloria, and Adrianna. She was predeceased by her siblings Ofelia, John Jairo, and Jorge. Claudia's memory will be cherished by her family and friends who were touched by her warmth, love, and unique spirit.
