Clarivel Morales

Clarivel Morales, age 90, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on May 14th, 2026. She was born on July 31st, 1935, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

Clarivel was a woman full of personality, strength, and humor. She loved shopping and found joy in her diamond painting projects, often spending hours creating them with patience and care. She had a deep love for butterflies, appreciated beauty in the world around her, and was known for having an exceptional green thumb because all of her plants thrived under her care. Those who knew her best will remember her sharp wit, her big sense of humor, and the fact that she never hesitated to speak her mind or take nonsense from anyone.

Throughout her life, Clarivel worked as both a teacher’s aide and a factory worker, roles that reflected her strong work ethic and dedication to providing for her family.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Jaime Morales; her sister, Carmen Sanchez; and her brothers, Jesus Sanchez, Edwin Sanchez, and Adrian Justiano.Clarivel is survived by her sisters, Virginia Sanchez and Dalila Sanchez; her brother, Luis Silva; and her six children: Alexis Morales, Jaime Morales, David Morales, Victor Morales, Yolanda Morales, and Nelson Morales. 

She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, all of whom were deeply loved and will carry her memory forward.Clarivel’s life was one marked by resilience, humor, and love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched.
