Christopher Smith Jr. Christopher Smith Jr., age 65, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 30th, 2009 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut Bradley. Born in Williston, Florida, Christopher came to Connecticut in 1961. A Central High graduate in 1963, Christopher was a faithful member of the Pentecostal church. He was reserved and dedicated employee of Reliable Plating for many years. Born September 18th, 1944, son of the late Cora & Christopher Smith Sr., Christopher was the 9th child out of 10 siblings. Survived by brother Rev. Henry & wife Patricia Smith, sisters; Mrs. Marie & brother-in-law George Jones, Mrs. Idella Stanley, Ms. Eleanor Smith and Dr. Lois Henton, also survived by uncle Robert Clayton and aunt Deloris Washington, nephew Hercules & wife Mae Nubin. Pre-deceased by sisters; Katye Smith, Emma Streets & brothers; Robert, Harry Smith. Christopher was a loyal friend and a devoted uncle to a host of Nephews & Nieces. Friends may greet the family from Friday, November 6th, 2009, from 11:00 am to 12:00pm. Funeral Service commence at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Avenue, Bridgeport.
