Cheryl Dixon

Cheryl Dixon, age 45, of Bridgeport, CT, has gone into eternal rest on August 8th, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. On December 2nd, 1974, Cheryl was welcomed into the world by her loving parents James Thomas Dixon and Kathleen Preston-Dixon. Cheryl built her life in Bridgeport where she met her companion of 18 years Michael Stevenson. Cheryl's professional career always gravitated towards healthcare. She worked doing medical billing and coding in 2011, then went on to work as in IT health information Technology in 2013 and dedicated an additional three years of her life working at Westport Rehabilitation Center. Her kind and loving personality guided her to offer her time to others without question. Cheryl was full of energy and had a vibrant smile. She was known for her sense of humor and jokes. Cheryl is predeceased by her father James Thomas Dixon. Cheryl leaves behind her mother Kathleen Preston-Dixon, her companion Michael Stevenson, her sister Zandra Dixon, and her nephews Thomas Dixon and Jermaine Jenkins. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who will miss her deeply. Cheryl leaves behind a hole in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will live through them and those who will hear about her radiant soul.
